The focus of these projects are mainly on building business models to characterise large distributed service environments and complex business processes, and designing cost and performance optimised strategies for execution and coordination in such systems. The team have a strong background in the general domain of large scale systems modelling and optimisation with deep expertise in one or more of Discrete Event Systems Modelling and Simulation, Agent Based Systems Modelling, Business Process Modelling and Simulation, Statistics, System Dynamics and Linear and Non-linear Optimisation Techniques. In addition to the knowledge in key management areas such as; supply chain management, lean management, and healthcare management.
